Artwork is received using the new system, and is incorrect. Is this a Graphics, PM, or Sales issue?

PM ALERTS GRAPHIC TEAM OF ERRORS AND RESUBMITS CORRECT PAPERWORK.

Is there an archive system that will be viewable by Sales to reference for new jobs using old artwork or sizes?

SALES SHOULD SAVE THEIR SCREEN SHOTS ON THE N:DRIVE IN A REFERENCE FOLDER. THIS IS A SALES SIDE ISSUE.

Timeline for retrieving artwork? Charge?

NO CHARGE: ONE FULL DAY LEAD TIME.

Are renderings done in low res still going to be free until it is time to turn it into printable art?

ALL RENENDERINGS AND BOARDS ARE FREE UNTILL THE DESIGN IS SOLD. THE DESIGN TIME IS CHARGED BACK AFTER THE JOB IS SOLD. IT IS NEW PROCEDURE FOR SALES TO REVIEW NEW DESIGN JOBS WITH A DESIGNER BEFORE SUBMITTING QUOTE TO CLIENT.

Right now we allow 2 revisions of a design before charging will this still be the case?

AFTER THE FIRST INTIAL DEIGN HAS BEEN PRESENTED, THE CLIENT IS GIVEN
ONE FREE REVISION. REVISIONS THERE AFTER INCUR DESIGN TIME AS A HOURLY
FEE. ONCE THE DESIGN HAS SOLD, ADDITIONAL REVISIONS thereafter ARE CHARGED.

Repairs of banner stands and various misc graphics issues.... Magnet replacement, kick plate replacement, finishing of graphics. Timeline? Charge? Graphics issue?

LEAD TIME AND SERVICE CHARGES WILL DEPEND ON THE NATURE OF THE REPAIRS. MATERIAL COSTS WILL BE CHARGED.

The only concern that I have is when art is on the wrong grid and I will send it to corporate because I am not aware that it is the wrong grid and it will get filtered by Skyline. We as a team have to make sure that one of us catches these things before it is sent out, other then that I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

THAT IS A PM RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK PAPERWORK AND APPROACH ALL JOBS PROACTIVE.

What if graphics are wrong?

INCORRECT INFORMATION SUBMITTED-REVIEW THE COPY EMAILED TO YOU. HAVE YOUR PM RESUBMIT PAPERWORK.

What about InDesign?

Client may use InDesign, or any other program compatible with Illustrator, to design, however they are responsible for placing their design into the Illustrator template provided for you. They must follow guidelines for submission.

What if I'm just uploading images elements for SMC Design Team to Work with?

SMC Design Services will send a link to the client in this case, with directions about how to upload their files. We request that all or most image and branding elements are gathered before uploading to avoid cluttering FTP.
